Click, Walk & Access

Category: Brand:

Make inclusion real across your digital services and physical premises.

Click, Walk & Access is designed for businesses and organisations that want to identify accessibility barriers across both their online and in-person environments.

A customer’s experience may begin on your website and continue when they visit your premises. If either environment creates barriers, disabled customers may struggle to find information, access services or complete everyday tasks.

Our combined accessibility review draws on lived experience of disability and visual impairment to help you understand how people may experience your digital services and physical environment in practice.

From navigating your website and completing online bookings to identifying entrances and finding facilities, we focus on practical barriers and opportunities for improvement across the customer journey.

What’s included?

Your £1,200 package includes:

An initial meeting:** Discuss your organisation, digital services, physical premises and accessibility priorities.
Two combined accessibility reviews:** Review agreed aspects of your digital and physical environments at two points within the package validity period.
Identification of accessibility barriers:** Understand where website design, digital content, physical features or everyday arrangements could make access more difficult for disabled people.
Real-world impact Gain insight into how identified barriers could affect people’s ability to find information, use digital services, enter premises and access services.
Practical recommendations:** Receive suggestions to help address the barriers identified.
Prioritised actions:** Understand which improvements to consider first across your digital and physical environments.

What do we review?

Your package combines digital and physical accessibility reviews. The exact scope will be agreed in advance, based on your organisation’s services, premises and priorities.

Click: Digital accessibility

We examine the practical experience of using your website, online shop, app or other agreed digital services.

Depending on the agreed scope, this may include:

Website navigation and structure.
Text readability, clarity and contrast.
Buttons, links, menus and interactive elements.
Online shopping, booking processes and forms.
Mobile usability.
Assistive technology and alternative methods of accessing digital content.
Images, videos, documents and other digital resources.
Finding information and changing choices during online processes.

### Walk: Physical accessibility

We examine the practical experience of accessing and using your premises.

Depending on the agreed scope, this may include:

Entrances and access routes.
Navigation and wayfinding.
Visibility, contrast and identifying important features.
Lighting, glare and shadows.
Reception desks, counters and customer service points.
Seating, toilets, waiting areas and other relevant facilities.
Layout and movement around the premises.
Customer journeys and access to services.

Every organisation is different. We agree the areas covered before the reviews begin and focus on practical accessibility barriers rather than simply checking whether particular features are present.

How does the package work?

Your package includes two combined accessibility reviews, which must both be completed within **12 months of your first review

Before the reviews begin, we will agree which digital services and physical areas are included.

The second review can be used to revisit barriers identified during the first review, assess changes your organisation has made or examine further accessibility concerns within the agreed scope.

Review dates will be arranged by mutual agreement, subject to availability.

Why combine digital and physical accessibility?

Accessibility does not stop at your website or your front door.

A customer might visit your website to find your opening hours, check accessibility information, book an appointment or purchase a product. They then need to find your entrance, navigate your premises and access the service they came for.

If the website is difficult to use, the customer may encounter barriers before their visit even begins. If the physical environment creates difficulties, an otherwise straightforward online experience may still end in frustration.

For example:

Accessibility information may be difficult to find on your website before a visit.
Important information may be difficult to read online, while signs inside your premises may be difficult to distinguish.
An online booking process may be straightforward, but finding the correct department or accessing a reception desk may present further barriers.
Changes to your website or premises may introduce new accessibility challenges.

By considering both environments, your organisation can better understand how accessibility affects the wider customer journey.

Who is it for?

Click, Walk & Access is suitable for businesses and organisations that provide digital services and welcome customers, visitors or service users onto their premises.

This may include:

Retail businesses and shops.
Offices and workplaces.
Educational settings.
Healthcare facilities.
Hospitality venues.
Community spaces and other customer-facing organisations.

It is particularly useful for organisations that want to consider accessibility across more than one part of their customer experience.

More than a checklist

A website can look professional while remaining difficult to navigate. A building can have an accessible entrance while its internal layout makes finding a service difficult.

Accessibility is about whether people can find information, understand content, navigate their surroundings and use services in practice.

Click, Walk & Access helps your organisation recognise barriers across both digital and physical environments, understand their potential impact and identify practical opportunities for improvement.
